Hello reader!
Welcome to my new football blog, Man, Ball and All! After numerous years of blogging elsewhere, I decided the time was right for a revamp, hence the creation of the new WordPress page.
From the big international tournaments to the Premier League, Champions League and more, these pages share my thoughts on a whole host of football-related matters, with objective opinion from a working journalist with previous FAI accreditation.
If you’re new to my work, welcome along and thanks for checking out the blog – I hope you enjoy what you see on here! If you’ve read my work on other platforms, thanks for your support and I endeavour to continue bringing you a high level of football blogging!

About Me
Liam Togher
Hailing from Sixmilebridge in Co. Clare, Ireland, I took an interest in football from a young age and I first dabbled in organised sports writing on the pages of University of Limerick student newspaper An Focal.
I obtained a Level 5 diploma in Print Journalism with a maximum 11 distinctions before getting a Masters in Journalism from UL in 2012. Through my placements in the Limerick Leader and Limerick Post, I regularly reported on League of Ireland matches throughout the 2010s and I have also worked at some Republic of Ireland games.
In 2019, I received a huge break by finding full-time work with Snack Media, since when my life has been dedicated largely towards writing about football. I have held site editorial positions within the company also.
And yes, as you may guess by the background, I am an avid Liverpool supporter!
